What a beautiful ceremony with Andrew and Chelsey Knechel. OC, NJ – You may be thinking – aren’t you guys based in Gettysburg? Yes. But heyoo we travel! We took on the three-hour drive to shoot with them for two hours. We actually love driving and it’s always a fun adventure to take on long drives to new wedding locations! Tom is actually from New Jersey and my family always vacationed to Margate, NJ every summer. It was awesome to be back at the Jersey shore after we hadn’t taken too many beach trips this past year.
Anyway, these two were so full of love and raw emotion on this day. It was such a beautiful ceremony with some heartfelt tears, laughs, prayer, and joy. It was so beautiful to see how happy Chelsey and Andrew both were to finally marry one another. Chelsey’s family also used to visit the NJ beach every year so this spot had a special place for them. While Chelsey was walking down the walkway to the beach, onlookers were waiting at the end beside the ceremony location and clapped and cheered while she walked towards them. It was quite a sight to see everyone dressed so nicely and then some locals in swimsuits walking the beach and setting up their beach chairs only a few feet from the ceremony. It definitely added to the beach ambiance. Despite some wind – the weather was absolutely perfect and it was such a romantic evening.
