In any season, there are reasons to be thankful! Today I am re-setting my headspace and recognizing all of these reasons by writing them out in this blog post. ✨
I’d love to know what you’re grateful for this holiday season. Leave a comment below and let me know!

My Husband
My sweet guy who is the “Tom” of Tom & Em Weddings. He inspires me every day to be a better partner, business woman, and photographer. I love getting to do life with him & after this super busy season, I’m grateful to be spending more time with him!

My puppy
Copeland just finished school and is still working on his puppy manners. He’s doing pretty good but not super great.. lol. We still love him anyway.

Our Home
There is nothing I’m more grateful for than my home. Our sweet little cottage constantly has me grateful that we are out of our last tiny house. Unfortunately, we used to live in a very small apartment that deemed the name “hobbit home” – so now I love having a little extra leg room.

Essential Oils
There is no better season to be diffusing my oils than fall and winter. We love the effects that oils have on our emotional balance and well being. (Esp. Lavender at night thank you Jesus)
-
Books!
I love reading and am currently reading “One Question” by Ken Coleman.

Salted Caramel Mocha (in a mug for “here”)
Starbucks just opened their holiday drinks and I’ve been working in the store while Copland is at school during the day just to sneak in a salted caramel mocha – it’s best in a mug when you can sip it for a good hour or so.

Journaling
I love journaling and spending time reflecting on my days and the current state of life. Honestly, I think I like looking back, later on, to see how I was feeling at different times of life.

The crisp chill in the air
Oof. Getting up to let the dog out is never the most fun thing to do but when it’s that fall not-too-cold weather with a little crispness – I’m here for it!

Friends
Yay! We hosted Friendsgiving this year in our home. We’ve been hosting for the last 7 years (if you include our wedding last year). We love carving out this one time every year to see our college friends and hang out.
Here’s when I pass the question to you – what are you grateful for this season?
