Whew! We just got back from visiting Tom’s family in Charleston, SC. We’re recovering from vacation (that’s a thing, right?) by watching way too much New Girl and ordering sushi tonight.
We did a lot of socially distant eating while we were there so I figured I’d make a little post with all of the little adventures we went on!
Since it felt like fall had arrived within three days here in PA, it was super great timing to head toward a warmer area for a week and catch up on that middle ground weather before diving into the colder months up north. There were so many great sunsets during our time here.
Some of the activities we got up to included little walks in nature, coffee shops, beach trips, a plantation tour, family photos, visiting an island, the list goes on.

We rented a boat for the morning. This was fun and equally terrifying since Tom was the only one on board with any boating experience.
We got family photos done for the entire family while we were here!
Went to an island with a ton of dead trees that never became driftwood. Essentially a dead tree graveyard.
