A huge congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Seth and Victoria Miller, who held their destination wedding at Casa Larga Vineyards in Victor, New York. It was such a wonderful change of scenery for us to travel to upstate New York for this wedding, and Casa Larga was so worth the drive!
A wedding full of special details
Tori and her friends got ready for the big day at a hotel nearby. We started the day by capturing all her gorgeous details, full of color and sparkle. She had the most gorgeous collection of vintage brooches, and a touch of bling on all of her accessories including shoes, bridal belt, hair pins, and even a custom embroidered wedding mask. Before heading to the venue, Tori and Seth opened gifts from one another. Hers was a bottle of whiskey engraved with “see you at the altar!”, while his gift to her included a print of the first picture they ever took together.
The beautiful Casa Larga Vineyards
We had gorgeous weather at Casa Larga for their wedding ceremony! Their ceremony was officiated by one of Seth’s college professors and now a friend. It’s always so wonderful to have someone who knows the couple personally officiating the wedding. For such an important moment, a personalized message makes it so much sweeter.
Tori and Seth took us up on our suggestion to take some sunset portraits around the Casa Larga Vineyards property. These are always my favorite of the day, and this portrait session was no exception. The golden light was amazing, and the rows of vines provided such a perfect setting for newlywed portraits. As a dancer, Tori was so poised and graceful–it made posing and direction so easy!
A lively reception
Gorgeous ceiling to floor windows wrapped the reception space in natural light, adding a little extra romance to their first dance. This wedding party and family were so lively and fun! Everyone was on their feet at the reception. Even their beloved dog, Tequila, was represented at the reception. The signature cocktail of the evening was named “Tequila Rae” in her honor. As the dance floor opened, Seth’s grandparents stole the limelight, showing off their dance moves with the bride.
