This gorgeous November wedding at Hotel Hershey featured festive velvet dresses, delicate blush details, and one of the sweetest couples we’ve ever met. If you love fall and romance, you’ll love this collection of image!
Heirlooms details and a stunning tulle skirt
We started the day photographing details like usual, and were struck by the lovely combination of modern white and blush detail with vintage elements. Kirsten had been given some family heirlooms, including lace garters in white and powder blue. Her dress had stunning, long lace sleeves and a tulle skirt that caught the light just perfectly. It looked so elegant on her! The bridesmaids wore deep red velvet dresses, a very festive choice for November!
The wedding at Hotel Hershey
Kirsten and Rob chose to have their wedding at the Hotel Hershey, in the area where Rob grew up. From the getting ready suites, to the portrait locations, to the regal ballroom, it was the perfect location for this classic, late fall wedding. The ceremony space inside was set up with a voluminous floral arch in the same deep fall colors, continuing the theme. During the reception, a live band kept the dance floor moving all night long.
Portraits with the Newlyweds
Rob and Kirsten’s chemistry so evident as we took our private walk for wedding portraits. Despite how the images look, the weather was super cold and windy. But they were troopers! They may have been shivering, but that didn’t stop them from laughing together the whole time, especially as the wind whipped Kirsten’s veil around. It was such a fun day, and we always love working with people with such great hearts!
