Dreamy lighting and Location
Amy and Charles both really love hiking and the outdoors. I knew when we talked at their engagement session that they would choose a venue that was either in nature or outdoors. And that it was! When I started shooting, I quickly fell in love with this portrait session. Amy’s style, the nature of Tamanend Upper Southampton Park, and the perfect weather all worked together to create some magical photos. This Tamanend Upper Southampton Park Wedding was one for the books. I am personally not from this area so I really didn’t know what to expect. I couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out for them and their family.
Family-Centered Wedding
One of my favorite weddings from this year has to be Amy and Charles’ hometown family-centered wedding. These two cuties both come from really large, incredibly kind, loving, and supportive families. Little did I know, these two families also all go to church together and are close friends. This didn’t feel like your typical wedding of two families meeting one another for the first time. Everyone was a family friend and felt like one big family vacation. You can totally tell in all of the reception photos. Even Amy’s younger sister sang a song she wrote to the crowd. So cute!!
A Unique Evening of Fun
Amy and Charles also had a really unique element to their wedding by having their wedding party build large lawn games for their guests to enjoy during the reception. Such a great way to incorporate their extremely talented friends into the night and I have to say, every game was a huge hit! It was so fun watching the guests enjoy giant Jenga, darts, and corn hole tournaments while the sun set on the most perfect early October evening. Overall this Tamanend Upper Southampton Park wedding was a relaxed family atmosphere filled with love and joy for the newlyweds.
