Emily & Justin
There is no better time in Gettysburg than the summer months! I was so excited to photograph this session because of how dreamy the lighting and fields were around the battlefield. Emily brought some of my favorite outfits this year. Soft & romantic blues and greens. Her and Justin’s outfits complimented each other so well. We actually get to shoot in Gettysburg pretty often and love how different each shoot turns out for us!
High School Friends turn Clients
I’m not going to lie – I think these two might be my favorite because they’re my old friends from high school! I don’t get to shoot weddings very often from my high school friends – at this point we’re holding steady with one couple per year! 2020 was the Tober wedding where Mikaela and I were high school friends. 2021 was the Toomey Wedding with Krista and Chris who were also high school friends. Now 2022 will be Justin and Emily.
Justin is a long-time friend I’ve known forever as we had a lot of classes together throughout the years. Sweet Emily and I were on the high school tennis team together and I was always trying to keep up with her! She was so good and set the bar very high for the rest of us! Justin and Emily were always both super smart and gave everything they did 110% effort. I can’t imagine a better power couple from my past and I’m so honored to celebrate them this year. Shortly after this session, Emily told me her and Justin were expecting!! She’ll be ready to pop by the wedding day – so much to celebrate!
