Cozy Lauxmont Farms Engagement Session
Okay I have to share Allie and Thomas’ engagement session at Lauxmont Farms from this past year. It was such a beautiful evening and it didn’t get nearly enough screen time. Allie has straight up queen energy in every photo and i’m absolutely obsessed. She was just glowing with her hair and makeup so perfect! Thomas was so photogenic and picked posing so naturally which made my job so easy!
These two will be celebrating marital bliss this year at Lauxmont Farms at the Japanese Garden. We are so excited to see this beautiful venue be the backdrop of their nuptials. It made a stunning location for their engagement session. They were such troopers as we kept things moving pretty quickly since the sun was trying to set on us! We still got in two amazing looks and multiple locations around the venue property. Their dog, Camden, was also present for this session and was such a good boy! You guys know that I love dogs and love even more when they can be a part of the wedding day or at least engagement session. He is a full size golden doodle which I always love seeing because our golden doodle looks so different!
My Favorite Part
We ended our session at another part of the venue with a beautiful view of the susquehanna river. We dipped into blue hour and got some really dreamy looking haze. I always love the end of the night because it’s when our clients are the most comfortable. They are leaning into the posing and even making some of them their own. I always love seeing our couples interact with each other and the camera when they’re at their most comfortable. Just before getting in my car, Allie handed me the BEST homemade oatmeal cookies with icing on the inside. If you know whoopee (is that how you spell it?) pies, think that but like 100x better. Allie – if you ever read this – I am still dreaming about those cookies and your incredible generosity.
