Early Spring Wedding
An early spring wedding for Matthew and Steph meant a big question mark as to what we’d receive weather-wise. Of course, we had a beautiful day and and totally lucked out as the next day (Saturday) we’d receive a huge snow storm. It’s always fun to see new couples in a space we’ve shot at so many times. Wyndridge is definitely one of our favorite venues and watching the seasons change at each wedding throughout the year is always a blast. Early spring is a challenge because there are no leaves on the trees yet. At Wyndridge there are so many buildings that are equally as beautiful, we can’t complain! Matthew & Stephanie
Just wanted to take a moment to talk about Matthew and Stephanie. I loved getting to work with these two and getting to know them a little bit starting at their engagement session last year. They both have such laid-back personalities and you could feel that calm energy throughout their wedding day. If you’ve ever planned a wedding you might know how stressful that can be, but Stephanie and Matthew both kept calm and composure no matter what was thrown at them. Even though their wedding took place in the early spring, these to have a soft spot for fall. They love the outdoors and even got engaged in the mountains of Virginia. I am so thrilled with the beautiful weather and amazing day we had with Matthew and Stephanie. These two are so special and deserve nothing but the best!
Last year our wedding season doesn’t begin until May so getting to shoot in the early spring was super fun for us! It felt like we were back in the office if you will… The best part is getting to see our vendor friends! DJ Mast was in attendance as well as Jan from Wyndridge and Kait from Kait Jones Bridal Hair LLC. We also got to meet their incredible florist, Emalis Farmhouse, who the couple knew and was pretty close to the venue. We love getting to collaborate with so many talented people who keep the party going!
