FRESH ENGAGEMENT SESSION
Donna and Colby moved to Colorado last year and spend a lot of their time hiking and in the outdoors. This meant we weren’t able to get an engagement session done until the week before the wedding! We met up with Donna and Colby at Pinnacle overlook, which was perfect for two hiking lovers, for their engagement session. We loved getting a chance to get to know them before the hustle and bustle of the wedding day. Since the engagement session was so fresh and their minds it made their wedding day photos so much easier and pain free!
SPECIAL MOMENTS
There were so many parts of this Wyndridge Farm wedding day that we hold so close to our hearts. Watching Donna and her best friend get ready with Taylor Swift playing softly in the background (of course!) is one of those wedding day moments that I will always remember. Donna also had a special necklace that was her late mother’s diamond and we all took a moment when she put it on to try and stop the tears from flowing. These little moments throughout wedding days are the ones that we want to capture to look back on.
SURROUNDED BY LOVE
Donna + Colby had so many amazing friends and family surrounding them on their wedding day. They both had groups of their college friends in attendance which made it for a very lively dance floor. It was so sweet to witness the couple and their friends singing West Virginia with the WVU flag in a circle surrounding a couple. It’s always so sweet to watch so many formative figures in our couple’s lives surround the newlyweds with love and support. We ended the night next to Donna and Colby taking a shot to celebrate their beautiful day. (another special unforgettable wedding moment!)
