We are SO excited to share with you guys another beautiful wedding at Wyndridge Farm in York, PA! Wyndridge farm is one of our favorite venues in Pennsylvania. The mountain views are beautiful in any season, rain or shine. It’s even better when we get to work for a couple as sweet and down-to-earth as Sarah and Erik!
The complete photography and videography experience
Sarah and Erik were so sweet to work with. We felt like friends from the moment we first met them! We got to capture both their film and photography for their engagement and wedding. It’s always so wonderful to get to work with clients throughout their entire engagement and wedding journey. It helps us create a more authentic wedding film, and tell their story in a more personal way. There’s nothing worse than a generic wedding video void of details, I’m so glad these two let us in on these special milestones in their relationship so we could give them a wedding film that represents them well.
A sentimental, family-centered wedding day
Sarah was the picture of classic and southern, with her stunning all-white wedding boots, embellished with lace-like patterns in the white leather. Sarah’s bouquet featured a vintage chain of miniature picture frame charms, each dedicated to a family member in remembrance. She wore a gorgeous cathedral veil that added that pop of romance and whimsy we love so much to their portraits together. We love a great veil shot!
The couple exchanged letters as they were getting ready. Sarah gifted Erik a charm similar to her own memorial charms, pinned to his boutonniere in honor of his mother. In the front row of chairs, a seat was reserved in her memory.
Before the ceremony, Sarah shared a private first look with her father. You can almost hear his joyful reaction as you view the images of that sweet moment between them! This is becoming one of my favorite parts of the day, as more and more brides chose to have this moment.
Rain couldn’t ruin this gorgeous Wyndridge Farm wedding
These two didn’t let the rain dampen their day. They were even willing to step out in the dreary weather with us! We took a chance and did portraits outside in a drizzle which quickly turned into downpour. You know what Sarah said? “At least it’s not snowing!” The chapel porch at Wyndridge Farm provided the perfect cover so Erik and Sarah could spin and dance protected from the rain. Newlywed portraits are always such a sweet moment to take some time away from the guests and enjoy sharing the day together. There’s not too much alone time on a wedding day, so your portrait time is extra special!
The reception was just as magical. Just after Sarah’s special dance with her father, the dance floor erupted with energy! As you can see from the photos, guests enjoyed lots of dancing, a photobooth, and lifting the bride and groom up–literally! It was a day full of joy and celebration.
So join me in congratulating Mr. and Mrs. Curran on their beautiful day! It was such a beautiful day & we’re so happy we could be part of it!
And now, for the wedding photos!
Please enjoy these photos from the highlights of Sarah and Erik’s beautiful wedding day!
