Historic New Castle, Delaware Engagement Session
Aly & Tom took us on an adventure to New Castle, Delaware for their engagement session. These two live pretty close to here and frequent this area for their date nights. Their go-to is Three Crowns which we had to stop by to get ice cream for the end of the session. Tom and I are both big history lovers! New Castle was the perfect place to walk around and feel like you’ve been transported back in time. I love the brick pavers on the side walks and the cobble stone streets that gives New Castle the historic charm and character and becomes the perfect spot for an engagement session.
The Importance of Location
Obviously choosing your engagement session location can be really difficult. I think Aly and Tom did a great job choosing a place that is meaningful to them. This location is one where they spend their free time together. We were able to freely walk around the streets of this town without too many other people out and about. There was still plenty to see and the waters edge is just around the corner. If you’re curious about the area check out their site. If you’re trying to decide where to have your engagement session, don’t forget to think about your relationship! Where did you have your first kiss? First date? Did your parents have their first date here? Do you come here every weekend to hang out? Do you want to remember this location as it is forever? Just some little things to think about before you plan your spot. Something I loved about this session was they incorporated an activity into the session. They love getting ice cream together and they made that a part of their engagement session. So sweet – literally!
