This post is for my fellow freelancers/entrepreneurs & wedding business owner peeps. We’re going to be talking all about our favorite CRM, Dubsado. Now before we start, I do want to make you aware that we currently use and love Dubsado so we will be leaving our affiliate link throughout this blog post.
When we first started our business last year, I knew the first thing I needed to do was to get a CRM. A CRM stands for Customer Relationship Management. I had heard so much about Honeybook, 17 Hats, and all of the other examples on the market. I had actually tried a Honeybook free trial just to compare it to Dubsado.
Here are a few reason why I choose Dubsado
1. Your free trial lasts as long as you need as long as you’re within the 3 client limit.
When I was in the trial period, I was checking out different options for our business. Having as long as I needed with a sample client was imperitive to ensure this was the right CRM for us.
2. Customizeable
The entire process through dubsado is customizeable. We can put our logo and our colors on everything. The client portal is total customizeable with graphics. Keep everything on brand by taking advantage of these features.
3. Clear for the client
One of the biggest reasons I chose Dubsado over Honeybook, was because of the confusion. When I was getting ready to get married in 2018 – one of my vendors used Honeybook to keep track of everything. As a client in that situation, it was extremely confusing. The brochures would expire or lock up after a while and I couldn’t reference things. I couldn’t find the emails and it felt like a mess. I will say – as someone who has tried the free trial of Honeybook, it is very clear and easy for the vendor to use.
4. Easily integrates into my website.
Our contact form through Dubsado is easily integrated into our website. The forms have the ability to trigger workflows so having it be able to be coded into a website was very important. Sometimes it takes our form a second to load, but that’s alright.
5. Exceptional Customer Service
Omg I can’t stress this enough. Dubsado has incredible customer service. They are always willing to help you through their messaging service and will even do a screen sharing meeting. They also give you the opportunity to give suggestions for changes and new features.
So if you’re like me, you may be wondering – why are so many people recommending Honeybook? Well I have my opinion – I believe it’s because Honeybook has an amazing referral program. You can receive up to $200 per referral. That’s crazy. For some people like influencers, this could easily equate to a huge chunk of your income. These are just my thoughts and opinions.
