Hey there! We’re back with another checklist and one more month closer to your wedding day! There is still so much to be done, but guess what – it’s doable and you are totally capable.
Here is our checklist of things to be done 5 months before the big day;
-
Look for Grooms attire
We recommend theblacktux.com for the groom’s tux. We’ve had so many issues with Men’s Warehouse that I no longer feel comfortable recommending them. Reach out if you have more questions! We used The Black Tux for our own wedding, too.
-
Shop for Wedding Rings
-
Discuss Menus with Caterer
-
Mother of the bride & groom outfits
It helps if you can give them a color or style. Better yet, it helps to just go along and shop with them!
-
Meet with bakers to taste cake samples
-
Decide Groomsmen Outfits
-
Give Guest list to shower hostess
-
Research Ideas for wedding favors
-
Confirm Bridesmaids & Order Dresses
-
Research Wedding Hair & Makeup Looks
-
View wedding invitation styles and research wording
-
Start Registries before Shower Invites are sent
-
Some places you can register: Target, Bed Bath & Beyond, Amazon, Anthropologie.
-
-
Finalize Guest List & Submit Invites to Calligrapher
This should do it for 5 months out. If you get a little bit done before, great! If you feel a little behind, that’s okay too! Remember it is more than okay to ask for help. Your bridal party, family, and even mom probably all expect it. If you have any questions about anything, please feel free to email me!
