Marissa and Tyler had their wedding at a beautiful modern barn in Manheim, Pennsylvania. They say rain on your wedding day is good luck, and so many of our couples this year must be the luckiest people! It rained most of the morning, but the sun came out later in the day to show off a beautiful sunset just in time for some portraits!
Wedding details
Marissa had the most unique, floral-inspired cushion set engagement ring with a coordinating floral band. Coupled with the cutest “I do” acrylic ring box, it was so much fun to photograph! She wore the perfect strappy summer gown with full-body lace applique, which paired perfectly with her dusty rose and white bouquet.
The couple had sweet gifts for their friends and family who made the wedding day so special. The groomsmen all had personalized flasks, and Marissa picked out heartfelt gifts for her mom and her new mother-in-law. She got to share a sweet first look with her dad before they walked down the aisle together.
The modern barn at Lakefield Weddings
This modern Pennsylvania barn wedding venue had it all! The property at Lakefield Weddings offers water views, a dock, and a gorgeous willow perfect for newlywed portraits. We love the combination of the white exterior and sage roof, and the bistro lights out front made twilight dancing absolutely magical.
At the reception, Tyler and Marissa had a super cute donut wall set up at the dessert table, provided by Duck Donuts. The guests were so much fun! This was a very vibrant crowd who loved to dance. Energetic receptions are such a blast, and this one was such a party! Many of Marissa’s sorority sisters were in the wedding or in attendance that day. The joy and support was just amazing to witness, and such a reflection of Marissa’s sweet heart. I so enjoyed celebrating with them, and feel like an honorary sister!
