York College Alumni Wedding with the most incredible vows | Ailin & Anthony at Walker’s Overlook

Nothing could prepare us for the romantic and heartfelt, personal vows Ailin and Anthony shared during their wedding ceremony at the beautiful Walker’s Overlook. Surrounded by friends and family, their wedding was one of those incredible days that reminds us why we chose wedding photography and videography as a career. These two York College alumni had the perfect wedding day in every way.

A family-centric, emotional wedding day

The importance of their families and the close relationships they shared set the tone for the day. The family support and pride on their big day could be felt throughout the preparations, and the joy was truly contagious! Their family’s dogs were even running around the venue in adorable outfits! If you’ve never seen a dog in a bridesmaid’s dress, you have to look at these wedding photos.

Just before the ceremony, Ailin got to share an emotional first look with her father. His reaction is absolutely precious! I love when I get to deliver photos like this that will spark memories and conversations for years to come. The outpouring of love, joy, and support

Ailin and Anthony exchanged vows in Spanish in front of an intimate crowd of family and friends. I was so incredibly touched by the meaningful, custom vows they wrote for one another. If you’d like to listen, you can view the ceremony on our YouTube channel with subtitles. The ceremony concluded, and the newlyweds recessed down the aisle to live music from a mariachi band and a flurry of tossed flower petals.

The wedding reception at Walker’s Overlook

We walked into the reception tent to find gorgeous white and neutral tablescapes with a lush blend of ruscus, magnolia, and eucalyptus greenery. The deep greens and pops of gold décor were the perfect combination for this classic wedding design. Even the getaway car matched the theme! The faux boxwood wall with neon “mi amor” sign was the perfect touch, and provided a fun photo-op for the guests all night long.

At the reception, the sentimental moments just kept coming. Often wedding receptions feel like the after party of a great event, where the big moments have already passed. Not this wedding! The mother-son dance was the absolute sweetest! We had a great time celebrating with these two all day. We got to hear more about their family and love story during the reception toasts, like how they met at York College of Pennsylvania and the events that led up to their proposal and wedding. One of the little known fun things about being a wedding photographer is hearing so much of the incredible life stories of each couple. I’m so honored Ailin and Anthony trusted us with their wedding day!

Walker’s Overlook Wedding Portraits with York College Sweethearts

We were blessed with amazing summer weather, and the most beautiful light all day long! Ailin’s bridal portraits are some of my favorite portraits I’ve ever taken. The way the sun caught her long veil and illuminated her face was a photographer’s dream! Later, we were able to catch a gorgeous sunset for more portraits to conclude their wedding day.
